Pavel Garaev ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how personal information, including photographs and any facial imagery they may contain, is collected, used, disclosed, and retained by the MugMeme application (the "App").

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to provide App functionality.

• Photographs and facial imagery. You may upload photos from camera or gallery to create mug designs.
• Generated images. Generated mug outputs, along with original photos, can be stored in your creation history.
• Account information. We use Firebase Authentication and store your Firebase user identifier.
• Usage data. Anonymous usage and technical analytics may be collected via Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel.
• Support communications. If you email support, we receive your email address and message content.

2. Collection and Use of Photographs and Facial Imagery

• No facial recognition. We do not extract face geometry, embeddings, or perform identification/verification.
• Image generation only. Uploaded photos are used solely to generate stylized mug imagery.
• Third-party processing. Photos are sent to our server and forwarded to Google Gemini API (Google LLC) only for generation. Google processes this data under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms.
• Storage. Original and generated images are stored on our secure server as JPEG files.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• Images are retained while your account remains active, or until you remove creations.
• Deleting a creation removes both source and generated images associated with it.
• You can request full account and data deletion via email.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google Gemini API (Google LLC) - AI image generation.
• Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) - user authentication.
• Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) - anonymous product analytics.
• Mixpanel - anonymous usage analytics.
• RevenueCat - subscriptions and purchase management.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, photos, or facial imagery.

5. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS/TLS transport. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
